Haystack Luncheon - will be held today immediately following the service. Join us in the fellowship hall for great food and fellowship. Please note that we will be collecting a love offering today to help Sister Esther with expenses of her move.

Dallas Holmes Concert - come help celebrate VOAR's 80th anniversary on October 24th. The concert will be held at the Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle on Kenmount Road. Cost of the tickets is $30.00 each. Don't miss this opportunity to see one of America's best Christian artists. Tickets can be picked up through VOAR.
Second Reading - for the transfer of membership of Stephen Matthews, Amanda Matthews, and Ryan MacPherson from the Meadowvale Mississauga, Ontario SDA Church to the St. John's Church.
Specialty Foods - will be open again this coming Wednesday night from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. No further orders for food will be placed. The remaining stock is being sold at cost. We are offering special savings on all remaining canned goods and frozen products.
Mid-Week Bible Study - join us Wednesday night at 7:15 for singing, prayer and a study in the Word. This week’s topic is "The Meditation of My Heart” part four of a five-week seminar by Elder Ron Clouzet, Ministerial Director of the NAD.
AWA - The Annual Thanksgiving Display for October 10th. We are requesting vegetables and fruit for our display. Please bring these items Friday, October 9th at 7:00 p.m. The food donated will be distributed by our pathfinder club. Once again, thank you for your support.
AWA Meeting - The AWA is inviting all ladies to a Brunch, Sunday, October 11th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Details are in your mailbox. This meeting will be a farewell to Marilyn Murley.
Church Board Meeting - Monday, October 12th, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall. All members are asked to please be present.
