Welcome:and Happy Thanksgiving! We extend a warm welcome to each of you to our service today. We pray that all may be blessed by having chosen to worship with us today.
 
Today's Offering - is for Voice of Prophecy Canada.   Please give generously when waited upon by the deacons.
 
AWA - Annual Thanksgiving Display - we want to thank you this morning for your donations to our Thanksgiving display. The food will be collected after the service today and distributed to the needy in our community by our Pathfinders.
 
Signs Magazines - the October issues are in your mailboxes today.  Please remember your commitment to this program.
 
Baby Dedication - today two sets of parents are presenting their infants to the Lord in dedication. We congratulate Norman & Amanda Howell as they present their son Noah Robert Winston King Howell, and as James Corbett and Renee Walsh present their daughter Kimberly-Rose Harmony Walsh Corbett.
 
Adventurers - programs that were scheduled for today Sabbath October 10th are cancelled due to family emergency. They will be rescheduled for Sabbath October 24th @ 4:00 p.m. in the church basement. If there are any other people who are interested in registering their child, please contact Amanda Matthews for the registration papers. Children ages 3 and up are welcome to come learn and celebrate Jesus! Let's be ready to go to the Kingdom together!
 
Pathfinders - are reminded to meet after the service to pack up the food display for distribution this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.  Please wear your uniforms for this occasion. October Meetings:
 
Happy Birthday - A very Happy Birthday is extended to Gertrude Ellis who will be 95 years old on Wednesday, October 14th.
 
AWA Meeting - The AWA is inviting all ladies to a Brunch, tomorrow, Sunday, October 11th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Details are in your mailbox. This meeting will be a farewell to Marilyn Murley. 
 
Next Sabbath - will be Pastor John and Marilyn's last service with us. He would like to have as many people as possible attend this last service. Call and invite your friends. His message for next week is entitled "The Last Farewell."

Special Potluck Luncheon - being held next Sabbath after the service for Pastor and Marilyn. We’re asking everyone to attend and bring a dish, hot or cold. Dessert will be provided.    
 
Baptismal Service - next Sabbath we will be celebrating and rejoicing as a church family, her family, and with all of heaven, as Amy Worden follows her Lord and Savior in the watery grave of Baptism. Plan to join us as we witness this joyous occasion.
 
Church Board Meeting - Monday, October 12th, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall. All members are asked to please be present.
 
Church Building Committee - the report of the Building Committee is in your mailbox today. Members are asked to please carefully review the information and to come informed at our next Church Business Meeting which will be held October 18th, 2009, at 7:00 p.m.
 
Church Business Meeting - Members are asked to note that we will be having a very important Church Business Meeting on Sunday, October 18th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. All members are asked to be there.
 
Pathfinder's Present - "An Adventist Heritage - Fall Fair" on October 25th, 2009.  We will be serving a Haystack Supper.  Admission is $5.00 a plate.  Keep looking in your mail boxes for more details. 
 
Sabbath School - October Meetings: 14th - Regular Class mtg; 17th - Sabbath School " A Different Kind of Music."  Come sing the hymns of our pioneers; 21st - Regular Class mtg; 25th - Celebrating our Church Heritage; 28th - Regular Class mtg.
