Welcome: a warm welcome to all of our visitors and guests today. No matter if you are visiting for the first time, a regular visitor, or if you are returning to worship, we pray that you will be blessed today. Our prayer is that you will find the love of Jesus here today.
Today's Offering - is for Local Church Budget. Remember that winter is coming and we need to care for God's house just like our own homes. Please give generously when waited upon by the deacon
Special Potluck Luncheon - immediately following the service for Pastor and Marilyn. All members, non-members, and visitors are welcome to join us as we wish them God’s blessing in their move to Alberta.
Canned Goods Needed - our Community Services is in need of canned goods to help us restock the grocery shelves. Please place your donations in the blue bin in the foyer.
Signs Magazines - Please remember your monthly financial commitment to this program.
Pulpit Gift - today the Church is delighted to dedicate its new pulpit. The pulpit is a gift to the Church from the family of Sister Ruth Hynes. The pulpit was constructed locally by Atlantic Woodworking and Thomas Glass. The official logo of the Church will be added in the coming week or so, and minor changes made to the Alter railing to accommodate the new-sized pulpit. On behalf of the Church, thank you for this beautiful piece of furniture.
Baptismal Service - today we will be celebrating and rejoicing as our church family, her family, and with all of heaven, as Amy Worden follows her Lord and Savior in the watery grave of Baptism.
First Reading - for transfer of membership of Michael Pappoe from the Korle Gonna Church in Ghana to the St. John’s Church. |
