Welcome:  a warm welcome to all of our visitors and guests today.  No matter if you are visiting for the first time, a regular visitor, or if you are returning to worship, we pray that you will be blessed today. Our prayer is that you will find the love of Jesus here today.

Today's Offering - is for Newfoundland Advance.   Please give generously when waited upon by the deacons

First Reading - of the nominating committee report will take place today.

Second Reading - for transfer of membership of Michael Pappoe from the Korle Gonna Church in Ghana to the St. John’s Church.

Thank You - for the prayers, thoughts and visits, and a BIG thank you for the basket of fruit.  It was greatly appreciated.  Steven Jamieson.

St. Andrew's Breakfast Program -- VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! As the program is in the process of transitioning from ADRA funding to Kids Eat Smart funding, the financial need is no longer great.  But the need for volunteers to serve 80-90 children each day continues. This is a wonderful opportunity to fulfill Jesus' command to feed the hungry, and share His love in our community. If you are free to help with breakfast on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday once every second week, from 7:45-9:00 a.m., please contact Trudy Morgan-Cole. (We also appreciate donations of healthy home-baked goods).

St. John's Beothuck Pathfinder Club - is hosting a Fall Fest with our Adventist Heritage as the theme.  Haystack Supper will begin at 5:00 at a cost of just $5.00 a plate and featuring a good ole' Bake Sale for dessert items.  This event is a fundraiser for our clubs Operating Fund.  So mark, Sunday, October 25, on your calendar and join us for a fun-filled evening.  Watch your mail-boxes for more details.
